Your responsibilities
The Technology Department at CERN is responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of key accelerator hardware, including systems such as cryogenics, vacuum, surface treatment, magnets, and machine protection. Within this department, the Safety Team plays a vital role in ensuring occupational health and safety, safeguarding the well-being of staff, collaborators, and the surrounding environment.
Join CERN as a Junior Project Safety Officer and contribute to the safe and effective delivery of complex scientific and technological projects. In this role, you'll support project teams in identifying and managing safety risks, ensuring compliance with CERN's Safety Rules, and fostering a proactive safety culture across a diverse, international environment.
